I decided to try some card sets over Christmas & woz really pleezed with the results & as I liked em so much I decided to try more lolol.... here is one I made for a friends birthday... its by Evelyn Watts & I purchased it from Card Making Downloads .... ya might wanna check it out yaself... lots of awesome stuff on there & at great prices :) Any ways.... this is the card I created yesterday evening :)

A Toy Story Card (Requested)

I woz asked to make a Toy Story card for a friend for her Grand-daughter.... she said she would be 4 years old & so this is what I created.... the background is supposed to be the same as Andy's bedroom.... its the same wallpaper anyways hahahahaha... I also decided to do the name & age so it looks very similar to the actual Toy Story Logo.... I reckon I did a pretty good job lolol

WOW aint time flown??? lolol

I cant put me tree up yet coz WE GOT no where to put it.... YET!!!.... we got new furniture now to what I had when I 1st moved into this house almost 12 yrs ago... & now I gotta have a good move around to get me tree in the bay again *urghhh* I do love what it looks like when all finished but its the 'getting it done' part I hate LOLOL

Anywayyyyyyyyyssssssss..... I decided... coz I cant decorate me room yet... I would dedcorate me blog instead for now... still cant believe its almost Christmas.... not even got all me prezzies :-O *yikes* am sure I'll be sorted in time tho... I hope so anways or else they will all get I.O.U's for next year LMAO

A Graduation Card :)

I woz asked to make a Graduation card for a friends husband's daughter.... she asked if I'd ever made one b4 & I said 'yes.... but many years ago' lolol.... anyways... I used a tutorial from Splitcoastsstampers for the shape of the card (page 10... 1st tutorial) & then I added my own take to create the Graduation card...

this is my creation

the graduation hat is just a square piece of thick card stuck on with DS sticky foam.... the tassle I made myself using some cross-stitch thread that I had lying around... the scroll woz just a piece of plain white card... rolled up sealed with a lil DST & then tied on the really thin red ribbon... I added a Graduation verse to the front of the pull-out card & there is also a verse & a space to write something on the back of it :) My friend LOVED it :) hehehehe

Well I have been making some more cards again... I REALLY have to get meself into gear coz I have lots of occassions this month that will require cards lolol

This is the card I created for my Dad & his wife for their anniversary next week... I am pleezed with how it turned out BUT......... am disappointed coz when I used my glimmer mists spray on the center heart... the ink from the verse I printed on it decided to run a little.... oh well... nowt I can do about it.... I just hope it makes it look like old authentic text lolol

This card is what I created for my youngest niece who turns 20 next week... she is so sad that she will no longer be a 'Teenager' lolol.... & as she has a 6 week old baby now she knows its time to be an 'adult' lolol... am just hoping this card will help cheer her up :)

My Promarker Solution 8o)

I woz so fed up of not having my Promarkers handy when I needed tham that I decided to create my own storage space for them... this unit is all made from card... wont tell ya how much card tho ... but it took me almost 4 days to make... so much back pain I almost gave up a few times & a alot of heated words ... coz I needed more than one pair of hands really lolol &...NO TEMPLATE WOZ USED EITHER !!! I created it all from scratch outta my head ... am annoyed that one element each time let me down.... for example... I had none of the red card for the red drawer lolol..... no purple spotted card candy for the purple drawer & NO brown polka dot ribbon for the brown drawer ... but apart from that.... I LOVE IT!!! hehehehe
I even got to use my new Crop-a-dile

what do ya think??? do I deserve a Gold star??? lolol TFL

I made this easel card for a very good friend of mine... one of my oldest online friends who I have met with on several occassions... she woz one of the people who 1st got me into PSP'ing lolol

I had an itch that needed seeing to lolol so I created TWO cards!!!

WAHOOOOOOOOO 2 cards in 1 nite... AM in shock lolol

This is the 1st card I did & its what I call my 'ZESTY' card... Oranges & Limes

This is my 2nd card & its my 'ICECREAM' card... smooth Chocolate... Strawberry & Vanilla scrummyyyyyy hehehehe... I wasnt hungrywhen I did them tho... I swear lolol

Father's Day card 4 my Dad ;o)

My Dad lives away (just outside Preston) & we dont see him often nowadays & he is known for his strange sense of humour lol.... he is always making fun of us girls when he see's us or just speaks via fone so I decided to make a cheeky card for him for Father's day (its usually an Elvis card coz he's crazy about 'The King' lolol) but I wanted to get my own back on him for all the years of taunting he's given me lolol

I used a Precious Moments image which Ive had forever & added a lil cheeky joke for him... I know he'll like it & he'll have some kinda sarcastic comment for me when he rings me after opening it... but it'll be a funny sarcastic comment & we will both laff out loud lol

'Flicker' Card - 4 Niece & new baby 8o)

My youngest niece is due to have her baby soon (in the next 2 weeks hehehee) & I always like to make something special for mother & baby as a 'keepsake'... so I decided to make this 'Flicker' card for photo's etc to be placed inside

This is my 2nd flicker card... the 1st attempt I wasnt happy with so started again & decorated it all BEFORE putting it all together.... am chuffed how its turned out tbh lolol

this is the inside... each page gets slightly smaller but the last is big enuff for a good sized photo.... I also hadded some baby boy embellishments here & there on the pages too 8o)

As the flicker card is so big (almost an A4 size lolol) I had no card big enuff or strong enuff to make a sturdy box for it so I decided to make a gift bag for it instead.... this is the finished creation... I hope my niece likes it when I give it to her lololol

Using my new 'Around the Corner Punch' 8o)

I recently earned myself some 'pennies' & decided after seeing a sale on Docrafts (by a member not on Dc itself lolol) I have been after one of these awesome creations sice I 1st saw em advertised.... but the cost & lack of funds kept me from buying any.... well due to a sale...as I said & my newly earned pennies... I woz able to finally buy this set... its my Mum & Step-Dad's anniversary on Saturday so I decided to create an easel card using the punch.... cant remember who the image belongs to but thought it woz sweet enuff for the card lolol... anyways I coloured the image using Promarkers & added flowers & adhesive beads etc & this is the finished creation

'MY' take on a 'Rock'ems' Card (think that's what they're called lol)

Ive never made one of these kinda cards b4 & I have no destructions on how to make em either lolol

but.... I wanted to give it a try & this is what I created...

*Dies - I used my Marianne Design LR0112 for the base of the card & folded it in half

& my Nellie's Multi Frame MFD 005 for the main front

*Image - Then added my LOTV stamped image onto the previously cut die using

*Coloured - using my Promarkers

*Flowers - are from Wild Orchids Crafts & Mulberry Crafts

*Sentiment - a pre-cut die from Craftworkcards then added it

to the smaller part of the Nellie's Multi Frame MFD 005 which I'd done in

2 combining colours stuck together using DST & then added wire

& attatched to the back of the card base

*Everything else - is from my stash & butterfly woz also attatched using wire

Hello folks... its my sister's birthday in just over a week...

so I decided to create another easel card using my Spellbinders Shapeabilities Pendants 'Fleur De Lis' die... & then added a centre peice using my Go Kreate Due 'Frilly Square' #2...

I decorated it using flowers from Mulberry Crafts UK & Wild Orchid Crafts...

I added lots of gems & some swirls & then added a couple of butterfly embellishments

(they were a prezzy from a friend)

then I added a sentiment to the front (close up provided)

A NEW KINDA FOLDED CARD

I woz inspired to create a new kinda folded card after seeing this one HERE

which woz created by the lovely Pickle of Docrafts

My daughter needed a card for her nephew & said he is mad about Dinosaurs

So I created this:-

Card Details

*The papers - the dino paper is from a Google search & then printed off

the blue circled paper is from a craft magazine

(dont know which as there is no cover to it lol)

the front stripey card is from my new Kars pad

*Image - Dinosaur & tree's were found using Google then after searching images..

I coloured them in PSP (Paint Shop Pro)... printed off a few...

then cut them out... then decoupaged the Dinosaur

*Name & Number - printed in PSP using A&S Puff Daddy Bold font (Upper Case)

& then I created a pattern to fill in the font

I have a friend who is ALWAYS emailing me things & sending things via snail mail & she never asks for anything in return... I keep asking if there is anything but she always says...'no, & I can always ask if there is' lolol... well.. thats true... cant argue with that can I??? lolol

Soooooooo.... I decided to created something nice for her..
my way of saying 'Thank You!' to her

This is what I created

for obvious reason's I had to create a box too...
so I decided to decorate the top of that as well...lolol

*Die - Nellie's Multi Frame MFD 500 (this created the easel & part of the inner circle) I also used my Spellbinders Standard Circles Large for the rest of the inner circle pattern.

*Sentiment - created using Greeting Card Factory... then printed & cut with Die

*Flowers - ALL the blue & white flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts... the large blue BUD's were from a raffle I won from a fellow crafter.. so origin unknown

*Beads.... I added some beads to wire to create little flower type strands

* Gems - Great Expressions Clear Gems (I coloured with my Whispers Markers)

except I made this one for her Mum to give her
(sorry its not the best picture am afraid lol)

Kadey is crazy about Mr. Tumble & she even tries to sign when he does
(I dont know if any of ya know or not but its a children's program where
Mr. Tumble signs to help the deaf etc)

Kadey will be 2 on Tuesday... so if she is following his sign's then he must be doing a fantastic job & she even says what it is she's signing... so cool huh??? 8oD

The main thing woz to follow the sketch provided (below)

All card & papers are from my stash

I used my Chloe & kitten stamp that I bought from Pink Gem Designs

I coloured the image with my Promarkers

I cut out the first circle with the stamped image on... using my Spellbinders Circles Die

The flower shape beneath woz cut with my Go Kreate Flower Die

& the shape at the bottom woz cut using my Nellies Multi Frame Die

The sentiment is one of my many sentiment stamps thats been stamped onto

ordinary card from my stash & woz cut using my Spellbinders Fancy Tags Die

Ribbon & lace are also pieces I used from my stash

Then I finally added card candy & adhesive beads to decorate 8oD

My Entry 4 the Sketch & Stash Challenge #52

Here is my entry for the Sketch & Stash Challenge #52

I used my new Tilda sleep baby stamp & then coloured it using my Promarkers....

& also used gingham paper by stamping the image onto that & cutting it out

to add on top of the coloured image

I used baby blue Gingham & my own polka dot pattern for the papers

plus the dark blue card from my card stock

I added lace & blue & white polka dot ribbon plus the navy ribbon from my stash

& I also made the bow

Used my new Nellie's circular multi frame die then cut out the image in a circle to fit I used the smallest of the Nellie rectangle multi frame dies for the sentiment after printing it off on the printer

to finish I added 2 hand shaped buttons & a heart shaped button

Wahooooo how cool is this???

a few weeks ago I was kindly asked by Janet of Pink Gem Designs to be their

Special Guest Designer at A Gem of a Challenge for their

December's Monthly Challenge. (Challenge 11) ...

obviously I woz unsure at first as I didnt know what a SGD had to do lolol...

but I soon accepted this wonderful opportunity with great excitement.
Each new Challenge is posted on A Gem of A Challenge on the 8th of each month.
Their DT member Rebekah.... is hosting this month's challenge

and has set the Sketch below for you all to follow....

there is also an added 'optional' extra of distressing the card.

For my card I chose the Pink Gem's stamp 'Winter Hoot' &

coloured it with my Promarkers

and I added a circle sentiment that I created myself

I used my 'Snow Marker' pen for the scarf & hat
I used card from my card stock & also embossed one of the backing papers

using one of my 'snowflake' folders on my Cuttlebug & I also distressed the edges

I used my Martha Stewart Icicle punch & covered with stickles glitter glue

For the large snowflake I used my Marianne Design Creatables die...

then I used myMartha Stewart Snowflake punch for the smaller snowflake

then to finish it off I just added a gem

& this is Rebekah's fantastic sketch that we all had to follow 8oD

I used my Nellie Snellen die for the centre piece then used my scolloped scissors the wrong way to create the inner circle

Then I created & printed the patterned papers from my pc

I created the holly images & created a wreath then used my own bears to add to it... all coloured then printed etc using my pc

Used my martha Stewart branch punch & added a bow...

some adhesive beads & some flowers for decoration

Added Stickles glitter glue for a little sparkle & shine ;o)

which is where our gorgeous Lizzy Minshall is now a DT member 8oD

& also for the Papertake Weekly Challenge - 3 of a kind

the image is a digi image Ive had for ages & I coloured her with my Promarkers

again I used my new cardstock from Papermania -Henbury Lane - Poinsettia... the strips are done using my Papermania adhesive fabric ribbon - A Silent Night

I created my own poinsettia's (3 on each side) using templates I created

the leafy branch is a Martha Stewart punch

then added the red card candy (3 in a row) in each corner 8oD

I printed the free digi image from Pink Gem & coloured it with my Promarkers

I used my new cardstock from Papermania -Henbury Lane - Poinsettia

I used my Snow marker pen for the hat... scarf & snowdrops

I added a flat back white bead for the mistletoe bud.... then stamped & added a sentiment

punched snowflakes then covered with Stickles glue for sparkle

I originally created this ribbon Christmas card randomly this evening

to give to my Mum & Step-Dad for Chrismas....

then found it went with a couple of challenges lolol

one on Cute Card Thursday

& the other on A Spoonful of Sugar lolol

the image woz downloaded from sum where on the net lol then printed & decoupaged

The paper & cardstock is from my stash

I made the ribbon frame by wrapping ribbon round a cardboard ring & then I added a blue frill

(well... the frill woz originally white... but I coloured it with my Promarkers lolol

I designed the poinsettia's & put them together after cutting em out with a craft knife lol

I also designed & printed the sentiment badge & added that to the card with ribbon from my stash lolol.... I used stickles glitter glue on the poinsettia's.... the snowman's hat 'n' scarf & the sentiment badge & the background paper is also glossy & glittery... TFL xXx

I created my own backing paper in PSP (Paint Shop Pro) & then printed it

the blue & white cardstock is from my stash

Gorgeous LOTV image used & coloured using my Promarkers

the sentiment is a ribbon which is also from my stash

I used my Joanna Sheen Icicle border punch & covered it with

my 'Snow Marker' pen... then fluffed it up using my heat gun when it had dried.

I used a couple of Nesties dies for the largest 2 Snowflakes

then I used a punch for the smaller snowflake...

I then added an adhesive bead to the centre of each one to finish them off...

then finally I added a snowflake charm... I just attatched it with ordinary

craft wire & then used my glue gun to keep it in place... TFL xXx

The Oval Nestie centre-piece woz a gift from a wonderful Docrafts friend

which had been sent for my birthday 8oD

papers & card from stash... ribbon from stash

Large aqua flower from stash... small pink flowers done by my new
X Cut emboss flower punch... I just cut it off the card lolol

Added a couple of swirls done with my swirl punch

& used candy for flower centre's
The sentiment is what I found in my stash already a star shape..

cool huh?? ;o) lolol

Paper Sundaes - a minimum of 3 different embellishments

I stamped 'Laybug Tilda' onto white cardstock & coloured with my Promarkers

The pink & white papers & patterned pink card are from my stash

flat beads... fabric & card flowers are all from my stash

the ribbon is also from my stash & I made a bow to match

The needles I bought with one bead on but I decided to glue on some more lolol

I stamped the sentiment onto the same cardstock I used for the Tilda stamp

& added it to the pink backing paper to match the rest of the card

The challenge woz to use 'spots & stripes'

I used one of my fave images 'Ladybug Tilda'... coloured using my Promarkers

the paper is from my stash... as is the ribbon... I also added a lil flower charm 8o)

I stamped the sentiment too & added it to an oval shape drawn & cut by hand...

then cut a bigger oval in a different colour with scolloped scissors.

I decided to use one of my newest stamps that I bought recently from Pink Gem Designs... she's called Chloe... gorgeous aint she??? hehehe

I stamped the image onto the polka dot paper to get the pattern for her dungaree's lolol then obviously I stamped onto plain card & coloured the image using my Promarkers. Flowers & paper were from my stash & ribbon woz from daughter's birthday cake LOLOL

& I also used some of my new hinges that I won ;o) hehehehe
